Balch Springs Family Health Center Opening Jan 13th Encourages the Community to Start the New Year with a Plan for Improving Health …Foremost Family Health Center-Balch Springs Committed to Providing Access to High Quality Medical and Dental Care For People of All Socioeconomic Levels

Dallas, TX – In order to meet the increasing community need for access to health care, both routine and preventative, MLK, Jr. Family Clinic is growing its network and the expansion’s first new family health center is the Balch Springs, location at 3515 Shepherd LN., Balch Springs, TX. The 7,000 square feet center will offer family medicine, immunizations, behavioral health, OB/Gyn, social services and health & wellness education. The doors will officially open on January 13, 2014 and will accept patients in need of the following health services: primary, pediatric, preventative and well care by appointments and walk-in. Service hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
“The medical team and staff are very excited about our January opening,” stated Tehra Bouldin, Operations Officer and Compliance Officer, Foremost Family Health Centers. “We are proud to be the first new center in our network and by opening our doors to serve more patients who desire to improve their health and wellness in the New Year.” The health center will provide affordable health care to insured, uninsured and underinsured residents of Balch Springs and the surrounding communities. For uninsured who qualify, fees will vary based on income level and multiple forms of payment and insurances are accepted.
The community is invited to help mark this occasion and is also invited to an even larger celebration, scheduled to take place in the spring, when phase II of the Health Center opens. This facility is a federally qualified health center whose team of board certified medical providers will be available to see patients on opening day. Mayor Carrie Gordon and officials from the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Police Department will participate in the open house program.

Foremost Health Center – Balch Springs will be one of the six planned locations that will ultimately make up a health network whose origin is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Clinic in Dallas.
