“CONSTRUCTION WORKER OF THE YEAR” Presented by Regional Hispanic Contractors Association
Wednesday, June 29, 2011 The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association will announce the Construction Worker of the year for 2011 at the sixth annual “Day of the Construction Worker.”
Each year, more than 5,214 workers are killed due to workplace-related injuries in the United States. This event was created to honor the construction workers that risk their lives every day to help build North Texas. A proclamation for “Day of the Construction Worker” will be presented by the Dallas City Council.
Anticipated attendance: 500 including Construction Workers and Their Families.
5:30pm – Memorial mass for the fallen construction workers
7:00pm – Awards proclamation:
Female Construction Worker of the Year 2011
Male Construction Worker of the Year 2011
The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association is based in Dallas. It was founded in 1995 to support the needs and promote the advancement of Hispanic construction-related businesses in North Texas.
