Time for another saga in the Terrell Owens Experiment (TOE). The Cowboys were outplayed by Philadelphia, in a 38-24 loss. Terrell Owens was a non factor in the game and got very frustrated. He channeled his anger at Pokes receivers coach Todd Haley. And the issues continued during the week, as both Owens and Coach Haley had a reported shouting match. The buzz about both parties overshadowed the Cowboys preparations for the Houston Texans. So how did the Pokes do against Houston? Well, the start was slow, and had the Cowboys fans impatient. But, that changed in the second half as the Cowboys overcame being down 6-3 at the half to win 34-6. Who was the hero of the game, TO. Three touchdowns by TO, and a hug from Todd Haley. Running back Julius Jones had another 100 plus yards game. And the defense shut down David Carr and the Texans. So life at Valley Ranch is back to normal. Or, it could be the possible calm before another storm. Stay tunned.

Seems like there is a dark cloud that hangs over the Oklahoma Sooners football team. First, QB Rhett Bomar was caught working, which violated NCAA rules and ejected from the team. The controversey over the on side kick and a loss to Oregon. Losing to Texas again in the Red Riiver classic in Dallas.

Now this, Sooner running back Adrian Peterson breaks his collarbone in the 34-9 win over Iowa State. He will miss the rest of the season, although he might play in a bowl game. A side note to the Peterson story. His dad, Nelson Peterson watched his son play for the first time in person. Nelson is in a halfway house in Oklahoma City. He served 8 years in federal prison for money laundering. Adrian Peterson was also gunning to be a part of the Heisman Trohpy derby.
