Speaking of the AAC, a buzz is going around Victory Plaza. Both the Dallas Stars and Mavericks are winning. The Dallas Stars are getting and buying into what Coach Crow Crawford is selling. A fast pace offense, with a lot of high scoring. And playing good team defense that will help the goalkeeping. Names like Jamie Benn, James Neal, are leading the young guns to the top of the NHL Pacific Division. And one month ago, they were on the outside looking into playoff position. If they keep this pace up, the three year Stars post season
drought will end. With a division title if things work out.
When the Dallas Mavericks got their streak going they were the fifth place team in the NBA West. They are now the 2nd best team in the west now. Gee that Tyson Chandler is working out great. The new piece of the puzzle for the Mavs in the middle is working hard getting the dirty rebounds both on offense and defense. Dirk is getting his big time points, but is not required to carry
the whole scoring load. There is lots of firepower for Coach Rick Carslies team. Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, JJ, Caron Butler, and the rest are contributing in different ways.
Come this summer, we hope to have a Victory party at Victory Station.
Both the Stars and Mavs are putting themselves in that position.
