Yes, the NBA season is not your normal season this year. All teams playing back to back nights. Some players are out of shape, and must play to get in shape, and the quality of play is off a bit around the league. One thing you can rely on is the Dallas Mavericks and San Antoino Spurs putting on a show and then some. In a battle for first place in the Southwest Division, the Mavs sprinted to a 18 point lead, with Jason Terry leading the way with 34 points on a night where Dirk Nowtizki struggled. But the Mavs lost that lead, going from 18 up to 9 points down. The Mavs battled back, baskets were being swamped late. Then we go ot, and the Mavs defense come to play. Danny Green made a great effort in saving the ball from going out, and he had an open look at a 3 point basket. But he missed,, and the mavs won 101-100. Both teams played head to head twice and there is another meeting later this season. The Mavs are in first place in the Southwest division. And with plenty games to go, Mavs must make every play count to get another division title, and get that home court advantage.
