And then, there are four. The 2010 Men’s Final Four is a very unlikely final four. Let’s say, these are the surviving teams, with a lot of the top seeds going out early. Almost everyone picked Kansas, including me. They are gone, along with Syracuse, Kentucky, and Kansas State. The newbie in the final four, Butler. The Horizon League Mid Major rep, who has the home court advantage being from the host city of Indianapolis, joins Michigan State, Duke, and West Virginia. Give Butler credit, they are what the NCAA Basketball tournament is all about, the small school going against the big dogs. And Butler has made there statement. Question is, can they hamdle the pressure of getting the two most important wins at this point. And will coaching become the difference in the game. This is where im putting my bank on Duke. Coach K will find a way to squeak out two wins with the players he has. Last year, his team was trying to find their way. They
have established who they are. And they did the simplest of things to beat Baylor, offensive rebounding was the difference. And Duke got the key boards late in the game. That is why i like Duke to win it all and to cut the nylons at the end. It was a very unpredictable tournament. Got a feeling that more suprises are in store.
Lets give a shout out to the Baylor Lady Bears. They beat Duke to go to the women’s final four in San Antoino. With tall Britney Griner at center, they have a great chance to bring a title to Waco.
The Texas Rangers might be without second baseman Ian Kinsler, who is out with a high ankle sprain. That is a nagging injury that will just nag you. Lets hope the Rangers do not let the injuries slow them down for a fast start to the baseball season.
