Free immunizations for students available in July

Students must provide evidence of having received required immunizations by the first day of school, Monday, Aug. 22, to comply with guidelines established by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Two opportunities to obtain immunizations at no cost are being offered in July. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and their immunization records are required.
The Dallas County Health and Human Services Department will host a free immunization clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 7550 S. Hampton Road.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas will host a Care Van Free Immunizations event for children ages 2 months through 18 on Saturday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenville Avenue Church of Christ, 1013 S. Greenville Ave., in Richardson.
