GIRL SCOUTS PREPARES GIRLS FOR COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Springtime means the return of Girl University! Girl University is a one-day conference for girls in 8th through 12th grades and their parents, to help girls get an early start planning for life after high school. It is an opportunity for girls and their parents to come together with professionals to find answers in a fun and informative way. Offering over forty workshops for girls and parents, Girl University also features exhibit booths with information on college programs, including academic programs, financial aid and other community groups.

Girl University is hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington; co-Sponsored by The University of Texas at Arlington and presented by Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, Inc. Girl Scouts and non-Girl Scouts in 8th through 12th grade are welcome. Preregistration required. Registration fee is $15 per girl and $15 per adult.
