Kroger, Dr. Pepper and Casillas Promote Texas Can!

Dr. Pepper and Kroger presented donation to Texans Can!

DALLAS & Plano, Texas — Texans Can! recently received a generous car donation as Dr Pepper and Kroger presented a new MINI Cooper convertible to be auctioned off in the Cars for Kids program. Proceeds from the sale of the car will support Texans Can! schools. Dr Pepper and Kroger presented donations to two local organizations focused on helping low-income and at-risk children stay in school and achieve their dreams during a fun-filled event featuring the Dr Pepper MINI Cooper convertibles convoy. A convoy of Dr Pepper MINI Cooper convertibles that had been touring the country promoting the Dr Pepper 75 MINI Coopers in 75 days summer giveaway*, made various stops in Dallas.
As part of the giveaway, former Dallas Cowboy Tony Casillas, Dr. Pepper, Kroger and ESPN promoted the Texans Can! Academies July 28 at the Kroger in Coppell on Sandy Lake Drive. Mr. Casillas signed Dr. Pepper and Texans Can! T-shirts for fans.
”Texans Can! thanks Dr Pepper/Cadbury Schweppes and Kroger for the wonderful donation,” said Grant East, Texans Can! founder. “The MINI Cooper will help us raise more money to provide more services to our students.” If you are looking for a brand new car, be sure to log on to Ebay August 28th, and place a bid to purchase the 2005 MINI Cooper convertible.
