Reliant Energy and Dallas ISD host “Lights On” School Supply Drive for Dallas ISD

Dallas residents interested in donating basic elementary and middle school supplies can drive by one of nine drop-off sites from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, and have their items collected by Reliant Energy and Dallas ISD volunteers. Six district facilities and three Staples locations are included in the drop-off sites. Some sites will feature entertainment and prize giveaways. Reliant Energy also will donate $5,000 in school supplies to the drive.

The sites:

• Dallas ISD administration building, 3700 Ross Ave.

• Julius Dorsey Elementary School, 133 N. St. Augustine Drive

• Robert T. Hill Middle School, 505 Easton Road

• Thomas J. Rusk Middle School, 2929 Inwood Road

• Staples (East), 9222 E. R.L. Thornton Freeway

• Staples (North), 16817 Coit Road

• Staples (West), 4351 DFW Turnpike

• J.P. Starks Elementary School, 3303 Tips Blvd.

• Thomas Tolbert Elementary School, 4000 Blue Ridge Blvd.
