Sprint Nextel to cut about 5000 jobs in 2007
Sprint Nextel Corp. said it sees 2006 results in line with its previous estimate and will cut its full-time headcount by about 5,000 in 2007.
The company expects to report full year 2006 consolidated operating revenue of about $41 billion and total capital expenditure of about $7.0 billion to $7.3 billion, it said in a statement.
For 2007, the company sees consolidated operating revenues of $41 billion to $42 billion and capital expenditure of about $8.5 billion.
