ORQUESTA SINFONICA
El Consulado General de México en Dallas se complace en informar al público en general que la Orquesta Sinfónica de Irving interpretará el próximo 9 de febrero el estreno nacional en Estados Unidos del concierto para piano del compositor duranguense Ricardo Castro (1864 – 1907).
La solista de este importante concierto será la aclamada pianista mexicana Eva María Zuk, quien tiene una larga trayectoria artística ejecutando conciertos con aproximadamente 50 orquestas de Europa y el Continente Americano.
La Orquesta Sinfónica de Irving estará dirigida por el maestro Héctor Guzmán. Desde hace más de veinte años, el maestro Guzmán realiza una labor incansable en favor de la difusión de la música y la cultura en el norte del estado de Texas. El concierto también incluirá selecciones del musical “Amor sin Barreras” de Leonard Bernstein.

“Promesa y Esperanza”
Este 7 y 8 de febrero de 6 a.m. a 7 p.m. , el hospital St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® llevará a cabo la transmisión del evento Promesa y Esperanza, el cual será transmitido en vivo a través de estaciones locales para recaudar fondos y a educar a la comunidad hispana sobre los niños que están luchando contra el cáncer y otras enfermedades en St. Jude.

“Weird Mysteries of Texas ”
DALLAS, TX – Best-selling author Nicholas Redfern will share his insights into the many paranormal phenomena occurring in Texas at a free presentation Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young St. Redfern, author of Memoirs of a Monster Hunter will present “Weird Mysteries of Texas,” at 2 p.m. in The Studio, located on the third floor Humanities Division.
