GDHCC Recognized as Large Chamber of the Year by Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce

DALLAS – The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, one the largest and most prestigious chambers in the nation, was recognized today as Large Chamber of the Year by the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) at the organization’s annual convention and expo in El Paso, TX.

“The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is honored to be recognized as Large Chamber of the Year by TAMACC, a respected and leading advocate for Hispanic business in the state of Texas,” said Victor M. Zepeda, Chair of the Board, GDHCC. “This award is shared with the great City of Dallas, our visionary board of directors, one-of-a-kind staff, and the more than 2000 member Hispanic businesses we proudly serve.”

The GDHCC adds the Large Chamber of the Year Award to an already full shelf of accolades including a record five National Hispanic Chamber of the Year awards from the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The GDHCC is also the only minority chamber in the nation to operate three business assistance centers. Annually, the GDHCC contributes more than a quarter of a million dollars in collage scholarships to the Dallas Independent School District.
