Hispanic Heritage Society honors with “Premio a la Excelencia” to Mexican Stars

Hispanic Heritage Society in collaboration with the Consulado General de México, City San Antonio International Affairs Department and Instituto Cultural de México honors this year by her beauty, personality, and professionalism to: Verónica Castro, María Victoria, Yolanda del Río and for his talent and professionalism too, to Eric Del Castillo.

The principal objectives of the Hispanic Heritage Society are the preservation of the different forms of artistic expressions of the Hispanic Culture and musical traditions of all Hispanic countries.

Their efforts are designed to promote artistic cultural performances by training talent and artistic groups to develop professional level, at the same time offering the community education and quality cultural programs for our generations to come.

The City of San Antonio International Center host the “San Antonio Greatest Musical Event” this tuesday, February 19.

ABOUT ERIC DEL CASTILLO:

ERIC DEL CASTILLO was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, where he did his primary, secondary and college studies. But there was an artistic need in him that led him to study dramatic arts at the Andres Soler Theatrical Institute. He began his career appearing in various works of experimental and professional theater. Subsequently he began his film career, and has now filmed 350 movies, not only as an actor but also an adaptor and as a director of radio novelas and television programs.

He has participated oin more than 30 novelas. His performances have gained him the equivalent of Emmys and other awards, including the “Ariel” (Equivalent to the Oscar) for his film acting. He has been an active representative for the Rights of Professionals in the Arts as an auxiliary of the National Association of Actors of Mexico and as founder of various Associations and Cooperatives of Artists and Technicians in Theater, Film and Television.

He is currently filming a telenovela with one of the mos renowned television producers in Mexico, Carla Estrada, who was recently honored in Los Angeles, California, for her distinguished career

ERIC DEL CASTILLO nació en Celaya, Guanajuato. Realizó sus estudios primarios, secundarios y de Bachillerato, pero había en él la inquietud artística realizando a la vez sus estudios de arte dramático en el Instituto de Teatro Andrés Soler. Se inició en el teatro presentándose en varias obras de Teatro Experimental y Profesional, surgiendo la oportunidad de entrar al cine donde ha filmado 350 películas, algunas no sólo como actor, sino también como adaptador y director.

Ha participado en más de 30 telenovelas sus actuaciones le han valido varios reconocimientos como “Los Heraldos” en Televisión, dos “Diosas de Plata” y dos “Arieles” en Cine. Ha sido un activo representante de los derechos de los profesionales del arte como Auxiliar de la Asociación Nacional de Actores y Fundador de varias asociaciones y cooperativas de artistas y técnicos de Teatro, Cine y Televisión.

Actualmente se encuentra filmando una telenovela con una de las más renombradas productoras de TV, Carla Estrada. Recientemente ha sido reconocido por su trayectoria artística en la ciudad de Los Angeles, California.
