Relieve your Aches and Pains naturally
We all get aches and pains from time to time. Maybe it happens to you during or after exercise, or while you’re working in the garden or on a home improvement project.
For most people, the pain goes away eventually. Some, however, suffer constantly. According to the American Chronic Pain Association, an estimated 50 million Americans live with pain so bad it not only affects their physical well-being, but their emotional, psychological and financial health as well.
Over his 35 year career, Dr. James Chappell, a board certified chiropractic physician, traditional naturopath, clinical nutritionist and medical herbalist, has specialized in helping those with chronic, severe and so-called “terminal” illnesses many of whom have chronic pain. “As we know, drugs only treat diseases with temporary relief, if that. The cure for illness is always found in the cause. Pain is a reflection, a signal or symptom of a bigger picture.”
Dr. Chappell’s research led him to the conclusion that those who suffered from such chronic ailments as stiff knees and hands, difficulty bending down, a lack of mobility, limited range of motion in the arms and legs, and a tender back, who weren’t in pain because of a recent injury were actually suffering from either toxic overload and/or undernourishment.
“It’s not just a question of what we can do, it is what we should not do,” says Dr. Chappell. “We need to stop doing all things known to cause illness and then start doing those things known to promote health. That means eliminating toxic food and beverage, replacing it with organic, unprocessed, unrefined natural foods, and since joints need hydration and lubrication, drinking more water.”
Dr. Chappell says people should drink half of their body weight in ounces daily of distilled water with added electrolytic minerals; and take at least one tablespoon of organic flax seed oil daily for lubrication. For those in pain, he says taking a whole-food supplement with plenty of specific nutrients, like Flexacine, is also a good idea.
Dr. Chappell created Flexacine, made of ingredients that specifically promote joint health. Among them is Maca extract, a nutritious plant that grows 14,000 feet up in the Andes Mountains of Peru. For centuries, it has been used to boost stamina, energy and libido; and Cats Claw extract, a plant from the upper Amazon regions of South America that has been used as a joint soother for generations.
Other ingredients include Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfates, two renowned joint supporting nutrients that offer structural support for your cartilage and bones; MSM, a natural sulfur compound that plays an important role in contributing to the building of cartilage and connective tissues; SAMe, a potent antioxidant that helps repair cells; Vitamin B-12 which plays a vital part in the production of SAMe within the body; and Folic Acid, a B-vitamin vital for cell growth and regeneration of cartilage, bone and tissue cells.
“You have hundreds of joints in your body and when just one of them sends a signal of pain or stiffness, it is really reflecting a whole body problem. By addressing the body you will address the signaling joint,” says Dr. Chappell.
