
Texas Rangers 2006 Winter Caravan
The Rangers will kick off the 2006 Winter Caravan at the Oklahoma City RedHawks annual dinner on January 6, 2006, in Oklahoma City. The caravan will conclude with the Texas Rangers Fan Fest on January 28, 2006, at Ameriquest Field in Arlington. The caravan features 6 major stops throughout Texas and Oklahoma including Okalahoma City and Lawton, OK, Wichita Falls, Longview, Frisco, Waco, and Lubbock, Texas. The 2006 Winter Caravan is presented in part by FSN Southwest, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and Southwest Airlines. Before Spring Training begins in Arizona, the Rangers will also make a caravan stop in Surprise, Arizona. In addition to the outer market caravan stops, the Rangers will hold three local town hall meetings, sponsored in part by kdfi-27, during the month of January. The meetings will be held at local Academy Sports & Outdoor stores and feature talkbacks with General Manager JON DANIELS, President JEFF COGEN, Assistant General Manager THAD LEVINE, and current players and coaches.
